What this site does
SRT2Word is a web app that turns SRT, WebVTT, and Zoom-style transcripts into Microsoft Word
.docx files in your browser.
What we do not do
- We do not upload your pasted text or uploaded transcript files to a conversion server.
- We do not require an account or login for free conversion.
- We do not sell your content or use it to train models.
What happens on your device
- Parsing and .docx generation run in JavaScript in your browser.
- Optional draft text may be saved in
localStorageon your device. You can Clear to remove it. - Document setup preferences (font, size, margins, toggles) may also be stored locally.
Payments (optional Pro)
If you buy Pro, checkout runs through Waffo. We store entitlement records (email + Pro status) in Cloudflare KV so you can restore access. We do not receive your card number.
Hosting & logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard CDN request logs (IP, user-agent, URL) may exist for security and reliability. Those logs are not your document contents.
